The Opportunity
PolicyBazaar, a leading online insurance marketplace, wanted to enhance their social media presence by increasing engagement and growing the follower base. To achieve this, we leveraged the conversation around Independence Day when individuals share wishes and related content to their family and friends.
The Solution
The “Bharat Insured” campaign was launched in the spirit of Independence Day to honor India’s unsung heroes who have dedicated their lives to driving positive societal change. The aim was to create sharable content on these inspiring individuals that will resonate with the audience, fostering a sense of community and highlighting the importance of collective contribution towards the nation’s well-being.
We identified and partnered with five notable activists from different regions and areas of social impact. Each activist’s unique contribution was highlighted through their life stories:
Helmet Man – A road safety advocate distributing helmets for free.
Babar Ali – The youngest headmaster in the world, providing education in remote villages.
Jeeja Ghosh – Empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve independence.
Neha Panchamiya – Running an NGO that provides a 24/7 animal helpline.
Jadav Payeng – The “Forest Man of India,” who single-handedly created a forest and advocates for environmental conservation.
Total Engagement
59,911 – With nearly 60,000 interactions (likes, comments, shares), the campaign saw strong participation, demonstrating a high level of interest and emotional connection with the stories shared.
New Followers
490 – The campaign’s storytelling approach attracted 490 new followers, reflecting the potential to build a loyal and engaged community around the brand.
To amplify their stories, a series of videos were created showcasing their journeys, struggles, and achievements. The content was designed to inspire viewers and encourage them to share these stories, spreading awareness of these unsung heroes and the causes they represent.
The outcome
The Bharat Insured campaign not only highlighted the inspiring work of activists but also helped establish Policybazaar as a socially responsible brand, encouraging viewers to share and become a part of this movement towards a better India.
