PREMISE

The 2020 edition of the IPL took place in Abu Dhabi, owing to COVID-19 restrictions. LuLu saw an opportunity to engage cricket fans and drive store traffic.


THE ASK

To create a platform on which LuLu could engage cricket fans in the UAE and incentivize them to drive traffic to LuLu​


THE ANSWER

A simple cricket game in which users had to score 10 or more runs in 6 balls, to stand a chance at winning a LuLu gift voucher. The game was live for 2 weeks, and 5 winners were selected daily.


THE RESULT

4562 players played the game from 30th September to 15th October. 5 winners were selected daily and LuLu gave out 80 vouchers to winners.
